to meet the need for medical care among the world's poor with lasting solutions
through excellence in medicine, patient care, and health education. We do this by
mobilizing volunteers on one and two-week medical projects and by establishing and
equipping permanent medical centers.

Since 1983, the Emergency Response & Development Fund of Crossroads
Christian Communications Inc. has responded to death, destruction, and
psychological trauma caused by natural disaster, war, and poverty in the developing
countries of the world.

Shifra Home, located in Burlington, is a Christ-Centered maternity residence for young, pregnant women and teens. Our home provides accommodation, pregnancy counselling and other support services to young women during their pregnancy, childbirth and for a period after the birth of their baby. Our home is open to all.

Charmaine
Idzerda has been a member of the Saint
Vincent de Paul Society at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic church in North Burlington
for the past 8 years and is currently the President. They are a team of volunteers who help
the less fortunate in the community.
